Quirky but classy. Avant-garde, but affectionated to edgy femine silhouette and retrò details that constantly reinvents in new forms. Davide Monaco is a talented Italian designers who after winning the memory of the fashion system with his clothes and bags made of pasta, that we Italians, you know, love so much, was able to find the right mix between transformation and tradition in a contemporary dimension of haute-couture by the glam appeal and noir aftertaste. It is no coincidence that so many celebrities and Italian bloggers have chosen to wear his creations in social occasions and events. This was precisely the key of his success, a business built "go to celeb" first, and "go to shop" then, similar to Fausto Puglisi at the beginning of his amazing career. In fact, he starts as costume designer of Hollywood celeb and soon became one of the names of the international fashion firmament. Probably this is the sparkling destiny of Davide too. It is surprising how fast he grew when you think that this designer is very young (born in 1985) and self-taught. Narrate is the beginnings of a boy who allegedly made clothes without seams: he uses pins only. Therefore, thank to this technique he gained in order: MONNYB star of Gambero Rosso Channel sponsors, his first sewing machine, the title of "New talented High Fashion 2013". On that occasion he was honored by Carlo Ausino, director of the film "Black Widow", a movie of inspiration. Davide Monaco dressed also me (I say WoW). The story is curious. I followed him by the time on instagram and as soon as it is presented the right opportunity for a glossy event, with long dress code and a nice flash parterre, I took the opportunity to get one of the models of the last collection. Black, slim fit, lovely ruffles and languid transparencies, the dress by David Monaco was the perfect model for the birthday of Alessandro Martorana, the famous tailor of "VIPs" and Elena Barolo's partner. Too bad that the box that contained it has not arrived at my destination on time, and I have to postpone the appointment with my desired dress to the next week. Here, the service that has resulted.
Accessories: for such an important dress you have to pay attention to match the accessories. There being generous necklines but sensual transparency is best to avoid necklaces and light spots on the décolleté to focus on earrings and clutch. The latter must be elegant, gala, coordinated with the dress, minimal and sumptuous fabrics or rich in precious stones. In this case, not to always go and only on big names and make room for new and original brands, I recommend you take a look at the proposals and Gedebe Creazioniregina. For earrings, betting on something small and very bright or maxi and processed with embroidery and precious details, such as those of Gioya Bijoux Jewelry.
