And then, what period of time would be better to visit New York?! For sure april and may when there is the Design Week from may 9 to 20 and the Met Gala. That one, is of the most important fashion event of the year in NY and it holds at the Metropolitan Meuseum of Art in collaboration with Vogue, once of every year. The show is fantastic and creates a unique exhibition devoted to fashion and art, involving celebrities, icons and signatures from the fashion system?!

Moreover, during the Met Ball, the streets of the city have been transformed into urban catwalks where you see parading models with amazing princesses dresses. In fact, the dress code of the event was the white tie for men, the highest expression of elegance for males, and the ball gawn for women. Those are sculptural dresses which seems to derive from a fairy tale, such as Sleeping Beauty style.

Then, the Gala intended to pay homage to Charles James, the famous British costume designer naturalized from the United States celebrating his creations: the ball gaws. Therefore, two days ago, there was the official inauguration of the exhibition "Charles James, Beyond fashion", during which 75 cuturier’s creations are exhibited at the Met until 10 of august. At the same time, the City celebrated the new Anna Wintour Costume center, the newly renovated wing of the museum dedicated to the popular director of American Vogue.
On the red carpet we could appreciate some beautiful clothes, a mix of sensuality and architecture. Unfirtunatly, some stars were too much influenced by the artistic context ... actually too much, thus their outfits resulted redundant and kitch. Unfortunately nothing interesting for the accessories. We could see only some stiff clutches, chic bags with inserts and light point jewel necklaces and earrings. Here are some examples.

We continue to talk about NYC, yes. Because, despite being the largest city shooting, cited above, loved and chat in the world, and live to see it live is different. Despite everything, he always manages to impress for the endless possibilities it offers. Over the same 24 hours you can: dance to the rhythm of a function gospel in Harlem, a picnic in Central Park, make a trip to Brooklyn (do not forget to take a ride in THAT, Fifth Avenue: the top for lovers of Vintage. Do not believe us? Go from Beacon's Closet, then we'll talk.), a walk to enjoy the sunset on the Brooklyn Bridge, or perhaps a drink at the Mandarin Hotel on the 35th floor of a skyscraper with views of Central Park, the most beautiful of Manhattan. Obviously, all before the show on Broadway at dinner (with those who have bought tickets at the box office on the same day, discounted at 40%, rejoicing because you have avoided the traditional time in a row at the corner of Times Square, turning on the Ticket Wall Street, near the South Ferry). And it does not end there, the evening awaits you. EVERYTHING, EVER, FOR ALL TASTES AND ALL THE POCKETS.
